Sort Out Your Cupboard (But Don’t Go Mad!)

Now we are doing more to get ready to start the Trim Healthy Mama plan, you need to get your cupboards ready. However, don’t go mad throwing everything out! It is really easy when you are enthusiastic and excited about something to just clear the cupboards with a sweep of the arm, straight into the bin, but there is no need to do this!!

Even more unnecessary is clearing the cupboards and then refilling them with all the products you see listed on the Trim Healthy Mama store or recommended on the facebook groups. Wait for now, till you have worked out what sort of meals your family like and then only buy what is needed.

There are many foods in our cupboards that can be used on plan, that’s why being hasty may mean throwing away good food that could be used or fed to children or those not fully on plan. There is also no harm in using up food, rather than wasting it. We are working our way towards being fully on plan, but that takes time and wasting food would be a shame.

For now, your homework is simply to have a look through for obvious items to throw or giveaway, like bags of sugar or fizzy pop, things like this are good to throw out! Then make a little bit of space to put the Trim Healthy Products that you do need.
