See Your Doctor For Any Health Checks Needed

Today’s tip and homework is simply to make sure you get any checks with your doctor that you need before you make lifestyle changes. This is important so you can make sure that you are safe to start a healthy eating plan and small amounts of exercise, but also because it is really helpful to have some basic checks look back on in a few months time when you are feeling much healthier and the results are there to show that you are healthier!

If you are worried what they will say then explain that you are starting a healthy eating plan, even take the book along to show them. Get basic checks like blood pressure and weight and so forth and know that your doctor is monitoring you to make sure you are good to go. If you take medication then you need to keep your doctor informed of your weight loss and health progress in case dosages need to be adjusted as it may affect the amount of medicine you need. It’s always helpful for doctors to know as much as possible about your health, including improvements, so they can help you be as healthy as possible.

This may seem a boring tip, but it’s really helpful to do.
